Brush Fire Spreads to Mobile Homes in Lakewood
Lakewood, Wash. – At approximately 6:35 p.m. on Monday, West Pierce Fire & Rescue responded to a brush fire on 146th Street SW in Lakewood. The fire spread quickly to the adjacent Jamestown Mobile Home Park and caught two units on fire. One was occupied and four people were displaced. The other was not occupied but housed a marijuana grow operation and Lakewood Police is handling the investigation.
No injuries were reported and the American Red Cross is assisting those displaced from their homes.
