DESCRIPTION:West Pierce Fire & Rescue and the University Place Police Department are competing AGAIN to win this year’s Battle of the Badges Blood Drive! \nWPFR took home the trophy last year…but who will make the most difference this year? \nThis is not only about bragging rights\, but it is also about fulfilling a community need at this point.  The American Red Cross says the nation is facing a critical need for blood. \nSign up for a time slot NOW by going to Redcrossblood.org. Select “Donate Blood” and type in 98466 when asked for the zip code. The blood drive is listed under West Pierce Fire and Rescue. The drive runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm.\n\nWhen you show up to Station 31 to donate blood\, that’s when you’ll vote for which department you want to win! Anyone in the community is encouraged to attend.
