DESCRIPTION:Santa is coming to town…and better yet\, the fire station! \nJoin West Pierce Fire & Rescue in getting into the holiday spirit at the Santa at the Station events in Lakewood and University Place! \nJoin us on December 9th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Station 21\, 5000 Steilacoom Boulevard SW in Lakewood\, or on December 11th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Station 31\, 3631 Drexler Drive W in University Place. \nThe apparatus bays will be transformed into Santa’s workshop\, where children can have their photo taken with Santa\, write a letter to him that he will personally respond to\, and participate in a holiday food drive. It’s a festive way for families to make memories while giving back to the community! \nThis program is free and made possible by West Pierce CARES\, a non-profit organization operated by the employees of West Pierce Fire & Rescue. \nWe look forward to seeing you there!

DESCRIPTION:This course covers adult\, child and infant CPR with airway management\, first aid for choking\, control of bleeding\, splinting\, bandaging\, first aid for burns\, sprains\, strains\, poison control\, and other first aid procedures are covered. This course meets Labor & Industries and Department of Social & Health Services Standards. Please note: This course does NOT meet the requirements for the Healthcare Provider course.  \nThe cost is $70 per student and pre-registration and pre-payment are required. CERT members may attend for $15.
