Fatality House Fire in Lakewood

Lakewood, Wash. – At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, November 28th, West Pierce Fire & Rescue was called to a house fire at 6003 122nd Street SW in Lakewood. Crews arrived to find a house with no flames visible, but fully charged with smoke.

Two adult occupants lived in the home, but only one was in the home when firefighters arrived. The victim inside was a confirmed fatality. The fire was contained to a bedroom and the cause is currently under investigation.
